Apa yang Kami Lakukan

In TORAJAMELO, we work with women in rural Indonesia to keep indigenous weaving alive—one thread at a time. By turning age-old skills into sustainable fashion, we help create fair jobs, celebrate local culture, and support entire communities. Our mission is simple: to make sure these incredible women and their heritage not only survive but thrive in today’s world.

Together, we weave a future of dignity, resilience, creativity, and pride, where tradition becomes opportunity and every fabric tells a story of enablement and hope—uplifting women, strengthening communities, inspiring generations, and keeping cultural heritage alive for the world to cherish.

Our origin

Our journey started with a dream—to help women in remote parts of Indonesia stay close to home while building a better future. When our founder, Dinny Jusuf, stayed in the highlands of Toraja in the island of South Sulawesi, she saw not just beautiful handwoven fabrics, but untold stories, rich traditions, and incredible women whose skills were fading into silence. We’ve faced challenges, but the heart of our mission stays the same: to make heritage matter, to lift up women, and to build a future where no one has to leave home to find opportunity.
