Position: Finance Intern
Location: On-site

Department: Finance & Operations
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance
About the Role:
As a Finance Intern at TORAJAMELO, you’ll support our finance and accounting team in managing day-to-day financial activities, tracking budgets, and improving financial transparency across projects. You’ll gain real-world experience in a mission-driven fashion company working to create a more equitable and sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Help in reconciling bank statements and expense reports
- Support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Work with the team to ensure financial compliance with internal policies
- Participate in audits and help prepare required documentation
- Conduct basic financial analysis as required
- Help streamline and document finance processes
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Passionate about sustainability, equity, and ethical business practices
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in finance is a plus

About the Role:
As a Business Development Intern at TORAJAMELO, you’ll help identify growth opportunities, build partnerships, and support outreach efforts to scale our impact. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, proactive, and passionate about social entrepreneurship and inclusive development.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and researching potential partners, collaborators, and funders
- Support in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and partnership communications
- Help monitor sales and partnership pipelines
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and documentation
- Research funding/grant opportunities and help prepare applications
- Analyze impact and growth metrics to support strategic decisions
- Contribute to improving existing business models and channels
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields
- Strong communication and research skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, slide decks, and online tools
- Strategic mindset with interest in mission-driven businesses
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Passion for sustainability, culture preservation, and women’s empowerment
- Prior experience with NGOs, startups, or fundraising is a plus

About the Role:
As a Creative Intern at TORAJAMELO, you’ll bring stories to life through design, photography, video, and visual content that celebrate indigenous cultures, sustainability, and women-led communities. This role is ideal for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in designing digital assets for social media, website, and campaigns
- Assist in photo/video shoots, content curation, and post-production
- Help document artisan stories and behind-the-scenes processes
- Collaborate on visual storytelling projects and brand aesthetics
- Edit graphics, GIFs, and short videos for various channels
- Assist with layout design for reports, catalogs, and proposals
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or similar fields
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere/After Effects) or Canva
- Portfolio or examples of past work preferred
- Strong eye for design, color, and visual storytelling
- Good time management and openness to feedback
- Passion for ethical storytelling and preserving cultural heritage

- Support artisan communication and production timelines
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Track and update production schedules and delivery timelines
- Assist with logistics coordination for events or campaigns
- Monitor quality control processes and assist in reporting issues
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good with timelines
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and basic data tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams
- Ability to problem-solve on the go

- Support the execution of digital campaigns across social media and email platforms
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and newsletters
- Assist in planning the content calendar and scheduling posts
- Conduct research on trends, competitors, and sustainability topics
- Monitor engagement and performance metrics; compile basic reports
- Support influencer collaborations and brand partnerships
- Help write product descriptions, website content, and brand stories
- Coordinate marketing assets across platforms and maintain consistency
- Assist during events, shoots, or campaigns (virtual/in-person)
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field
- Creative thinker with strong storytelling skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva or similar tools
- Good writing and visual sense; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
